STYLAND is an independent brand created in 2016 by Teodora Burz, who came with 20 years of experience of men's tailoring, production, buying and styling.
The brand delivers an aesthetic commonly found in menswear, considering the female form and movement creating versatile pieces with sharp cuts, sensual silhuettes and eco-friendly fabrics.. The goal of the brand is to create products that could be styled in many ways featuring sleek, sharp tailoring that will transcend the seasons. The collection is meant to be a collection of essentials pieces with a twist.
The in house team of highly trained craftsmen ensure the visions of the founder are accomplished in the strictest and most precise way possible. The skilled technicians cut, stitch and finish the garments by hand, ensuring that the quality of each individual piece is to the highest degree possible before sending it off to the customers. Every piece is cut & sew from Italian fabrics produced in custom colours.
The company has a focus on transparency, fair trade and environmental responsibility, operating own atelier and warehouse, which make it easier to meet the surge in orders, always keen on the side of caution and have grown very carefully. The brand doesn’t produce excess products, moving towards zero inventory — or close to it.
Despite having done little traditional marketing, requests flowed from most powerful stylists and celebrities in Hollywood. Law Roach, Karla Welch, Elizabeth Saltzman, Ilaria Urbinati, Jamie Mizrahi, Jen Rade, Micaela Erlanger, Rob Zangardi & Mariel Haenn and Monica Rose selected STYLAND products for public appearances, fashion editorials and commercials for their clients. Jennifer Lopez, Maria Sharapova, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, Jessy J, Demi Lovato, Kylie Jenner, Awkafina, Tiffany Haddish, Janelle Monae, Naomi Watts, Vanessa Hudgens< Miranda Kerr wore STYLAND suits on the red carpet.
Love style, long term thinking, live responsible and fewer better things are the brand maxims. Based on these principles, the vision of the brand is to combine eco-friendly materials with fair working conditions, feminine silhouettes and the perfect fit.
The last two years have been obviously challenging, but because the company is relatively small and incredibly agile the brand continue growing.
