Before that, the pink ribbon didn’t exist. Before that, no one was talking about breast cancer. Great strides have been made in research. The mortality rate from breast cancer has decreased by 38% since the late 80’s. But 1 in 8 women will still be diagnosed with breast cancer. We need more money to fund more research.
